It's been a year of ups and downs for us. Andrea is still working with Megaplex in Ogden Utah and she still really enjoys it. Shes the Box Office Manager and enjoys all the people she meets and working with and building her amazing team. Seth is still with Les Olsen Company. He made team lead for the techs this year, and his hard work shows in how often he gets tech of the month. He's a hard worker both at work and at home.
Taiyden turned 1 in June this year. We had so much fun with friends and family at his birthday party and we love everyone who came or sent wishes to him on his big day. He didn't care much for getting dirty to eat his cake, but he has since enjoyed all the fun toys he got. We can't believe how fast he's growing up. He's been learning a little bit of sign language and does really well with it. He's also starting to talk alot (We can only understand about 10% of it so far, but its adorable). He loves trying to walk around the house in mom and dads shoes, talking on the phone (when no one is on it, if people talk back he gets a little freaked out), he likes toy story, wreck it Ralph and Elmo. He's a true blessing in our lives.
We were able to travel to Michigan with Andrea's Brother this summer to see Andrea's Step Brother and Sister and their spouses as well as Andrea's Dad and Step Moms new house. It was the first time everyone had been together in a long time. We were also able to go to St. George and see Seth's Parents new house this fall. We visited Zion and Taiyden made frienemies with a squirrel. He was bitten on the finger but there was no lasting damage. Both vacations were alot of fun and much needed!
There were some hard times this year. Andrea's mom had a stroke earlier this year, She's doing great now but its been a road to recovery. We feel very blessed that it wasn't worse and for all of the love and support that came through it. We also suffered a loss in the form of a miscarriage in October that has been rough. But we're pulling through it as a family and again have been amazed at the love and support we found. Thank you everyone who shared your love and stories with us.
Some other fun things we did this year: We bought a zoo pass and have been enjoying it alot. Seth and Andrea went to the 311 concert in July. Seth and Andrea also ran in the electric run at Thanksgiving point.
We're very grateful to everyone of our family members and friends! We couldn't do any of it with out your love and support. We hope you all have a great holiday and Happy new year!
