This year started off with lots and lots of snow that we were pretty sure would never end. We went and stayed at a local hotel for spring break and even then, the drive home was a crazy snow survival journey. In June we went to st. George and then flew out of Vegas for Michigan. Seths parents came along with us and it was a pretty fun vacation. The flying home to Vegas and needing to drive back home from there was much less fun, but we're glad we got to do it. Seth and Andrea got to see newsies at Hale center theater over the summer and it was AMAZING. We had to have some repairs done to the new bathroom, that should've been done right the first time but weren't. Which then led Andrea to changing our entire living room, don't ask her brain is a scary place :). Seth and Andrea got to see 311 at the union in October, our only concert this year, BOO. (Andrea was able to sneak in a last minute concert with her friend Alina to see Blindlove on 12/15) Then we got to go to Disney World over fall break with Andreas family. It was fun to get those cousins together and see them at Disney together since we don't get to see them too much. We put up permeant lights on the house as well this year. For Thanksgiving we had Andreas mom and brother over and spent the whole day cooking. Small and fun just like we like it.
Taiyden:
This year Taiyden finished 5th grade and started 6th grade. He's still playing trumpet for the school band and taking piano lessons. Taiyden turned 11 this year, but he's starting to eat like a teenager. He started seeing an orthodontist and is on wait and see appoitments for now, but will probably have braces sometime soon. He made the yearbook crew for this year and is currently applying for the robotics club. he definitely keeps busy. He still enjoys playing with his guitar, and playing video games. its fun to watch him grow.
Amberlyn:
Amberlyn finished 2nd grade and started 3rd grade. She loves doing anything artsy and spends a lot of time creating decorations for her room or videos for YouTube (yeah I know, I keep a close eye on it I promise, she just loves editing and creating and its hard to say no to.) She was baptized in the Au Sable River in Michigan in June. it was so peaceful and beautiful and I loved that it was just a few people and so her. She took art classes over the summer. She also go glasses this year.
Seth:
Seth is still with Les Olson Company. He had to go for a week long training in California this year and we missed him way too much. So Andrea says never again. lol He Also still loves video games and mini date walks every night... Or at least Andrea tells him he loves the walks Ha. So So grateful for him and his dedication to our family. Best man alive.
Andrea:
Andrea is still doing the recess monitor thing and still enjoying it. She's Constantly planing some sort of vacation. We'll see how many of them actually work out. She's anxiously awaiting one of her bffs (Eryn) Baby, due any day now. and already has let them know whenever babies first Disney trip happens she will be there. to no ones surprise at all.
We are looking forward to 2024, the kids are getting a snowboarding class for christmas (Uncle Steve would be so disappointed its their first snowboarding trip.. yikes) so we're waiting to see if they like it. but we're excited to see where the next year takes us.
